THB Building Contractor Ltd was awarded the “Highly Commended Best New Business” at the Barking and Dagenham Business Awards on 2nd July 2025 at the Broadway, Barking. The Barking and Dagenham Business Awards supports and celebrates small business enterprises within the community at an annual awards ceremony.
Having been established in 2010 as a small building and maintenance company, THB has grown rapidly to become one of the most sought after building and construction companies in London and recently opened its Corporate Social Responsibility wing to work with communities that are glad to be given a hand-up.
His Worshipful The Mayor, Councillor Hardial Singh Rai said: “I was very impressed with Tony Handyman Builders as being very highly commended at the Barking and Dagenham Business awards 2025. “This feat could only have been achieved by having a dedicated team who have completed their contracts to the satisfaction of their customers.“I wish them well in the future.”
The company, which underwent a in-depth due diligence process impressed judges in its growth from small scale domestic to large scale domestic and commercial projects and its ambition to work in social housing and take on apprentices to work with government plans to increase employment opportunities in the UK.
